In this episode, Dr. Joyce Z. Wazirali, Founder of the Unity Conscious Leadership® Academy takes you on her journey of discovery and awareness of the interconnectedness of life, and how to transform the contemporary sorrow and pain into happiness and peace by changing our perspective on life from Duality (separateness) to Unity (oneness).
Hello, listeners. My name is Dr. Joyce Sat Wasirali, founder of the Unity Conscious Leadership Academy. In this podcast, I will explain on how to break the vicious cycle of pain and sorrow in a sustainable way and create healthy relationships, absolute happiness, and peace by changing our perspective on life.
I quote Albert Einstein, "Unity conscious living is like looking at your environment as if you are looking in your mirror."
A long time ago, a ship from India reached the shores of the Amazon. A young man and woman met, fell in love, and started their own family.
After they died, their great-granddaughter was born. She grew up in a peaceful environment and experienced oneness.
As a toddler, she found herself in her grandmother's orchard and marveled at how a banana tree produces bananas.
That day, she became aware of an all-pervading invisible intelligence without name or form, which connects everything and provides all beings with information.
Since then, she has been able to see visible and invisible connections and patterns in life. As a result, she became aware of the cau-causes and solutions to complex problems.
At the age of 10, she moved to the Netherlands with her family. Since then, she has lived in two different worlds.
One world of unity, where interconnectedness and equality prevail, communicating in a language of oneness, such as we, together, with each other, and a world of duality, where separation, hierarchy, and inequality prevail, communicating in a language of opposites, such as good and evil, black and white, us and them.
I am that girl.
I've always been curious about the driving forces of people and leaders, both in my own life and with my clients. Whenever I encounter obstacles, I always start with self-reflection and self-examination to find the solutions within myself.
One day, I discovered that I was homesick for India, and that even though I had never been there.
It turned out that my great-grandfather had also been homesick for India. I had unknowingly inherited from him.
In retrospect, I realized that I was unconsciously avoiding people who looked like me, which made me feel sad.
Since my transformation, the feeling of homesickness has disappeared. A bigger world has opened for me, and I can enjoy life even more without feeling guilty.
At birth, we receive an invisible backpack containing two main items.
The one is love and our core values, health, happiness, and peace. And the other one, the second one, is pain caused by traumas, desires, and lost potentials of our ancestors and society. Wherever we go, we carry our backpack with us. As a result, we unconsciously influence each other, project our feelings onto each other, and behave in certain ways. For example, when people meet, a feeling of attraction or repulsion can arise.
People who are bullied start bullying themselves.
Leaders who give order to injure or kill people.
Both the perpetrator and the victim become traumatized. They pass the trauma on to the next generations, who in turn project the pain onto the people around them.
Ultimately, we end up in a vicious cycle of pain and sorrow.
The question is, how can we break the cycle in a sustainable way?
As Albert Einstein once said, "We cannot solve a problem with the same mind that created it."
For centuries, we have been conditioned to view our world from the perspective of an old paradigm of leadership from the perspective of duality, which is the root cause of crisis, conflicts, and polarization. That is why people and systems fall back into old habits and patterns.
We do not live in a separate world. We live in a quantum field of unity. What happens on the other side of the world also affects us, and vice versa.
The only way to break the cycle is to shift our perspective on life to a new paradigm of unity conscious leadership and to undergo profound inner human revolution by healing our wounds, turning our pain into love, forgive, restore the heart-to-heart connection, and co-create healthy relationships, organizations, and societies, absolute happiness, and peace.
The three basic principles of this new paradigm of leadership are, first, we are all interconnected, interdependent, and influencing each other constantly.
Second, we can expand our consciousness by viewing our external world as a reflection of our inner self.
And the third, we are all leaders with ability to find answers and solutions within ourselves.
This new leadership paradigm is the bridge from duality to unity, the journey from our head to our heart, and the road from adversity to prosperity. Thank you.
