Hello.
I'm Arabella Arkwright, founder of The
Alchemist Clinic in Warwickshire, England.
I'm an intuitive energy healer, and by that
I mean I have the ability to sense everything in people because I feel what
they're feeling in my own body. And I work with people who may be experiencing
physical pain, emotional dis-distress, unresolved trauma, or a feeling that
something within them is simply out of balance. Many of those people who come
to see me feel as though they have already tried everything. They may have
visited doctors, specialists, or other practitioners and still feel that
something is being missed.
My role isn't to replace medical care. It
is to create a safe and compassionate space where we can explore the connection
between the body, the mind, our emotions, and our energy.
No two sessions with me are ever identical
because no two people arrive carrying the same experience.
I don't follow a rigid formula. I listen, I
observe, and most importantly, I discern. I feel things.
And when I connect with somebody, I often
experience physical sensations in my own body. These might appear as warmth,
tingling, or tiny electrical currents. The sensations can become stronger
around particular areas, almost as though my body is acting as a compass and
guides me towards something that needs attention.
I have this little voice in my head, and I
get myself out of the way, and it really basically tells me what to do. I can
often sense things that have been unspoken.
Sometimes that connection begins before a
person is physically standing in front of me. I can sense something from afar.
This could be a heaviness, an emotional blockage, or an imbalance that I feel
drawn to explore. Often, when I'm talking to people on the telephone, I can
feel what they're feeling, and I tell them, and then they become aware of it.
There have been occasions when I have felt
connected to someone before we have even met in person. I may experience
sensations, emotions, or an awareness that feels as though it belongs to them
rather than me.
This can be difficult to explain because it
isn't always something that can be understood logically. It is an intuitive
connection that has developed within me that I have trusted and refined through
years of study and direct experience. My sensitivity to people has really been
present for most of my life, although I didn't always have the language to
describe it.
As a child, I felt naturally drawn to
caring for animals. There was something about their honesty and vulnerability
that allowed me to connect to them deeply. And my own experience with illness,
injury, and multiple operations later gave me a very personal understanding of
the body.
I didn't know it simply as something
described in textbooks. I understood how vulnerable it could feel to live in a
body that endured pain.
These experiences encouraged me to question
whether our physical and emotional lives could ever truly be separated.
I noticed that our bor- bodies often
carried things that we haven't expressed. Fear, grief, stress, and painful
memories can influence how we breathe, how we move, how safe we feel, and how
we respond to the world around us.
That realization took me beyond
conventional ways of looking at individual symptoms, and I wanted to understand
the entire person, what they had experienced, what they believed, and what they
might still be carrying.
This eventually led me towards energy
healing practices, mainly from America, and a particular book written by Donald
Epstein.
His work was called "The Twelve Stages
of Healing." And during this period of learning and reflection, I
experienced something that really changed the direction of my life, because
when I was 12, I suffered an injury that
broke my coccyx and left me with a raised lump and a long-term misalignment
around my sacroiliac region.
And years later, something extraordinary
happened to me. I was sitting down after having read part of this book where it
said I was gonna have a life-altering experience, and I needed to rest. And out
of the blue, on a bright blue sky spring day, this bolt of energy came at me,
and I can only describe it as otherworldly.
It hit me, and it took me backwards and
forwards in slow motion, like a slow-motion car crash. I felt the energy move
along my spine until it reached the area of this childhood injury, and it was
as though a dormant current had found the precise place it needed to reach.
Afterwards, the raised lump that had been
there for years just disappeared.
I have since come to understand this
experience. It, it's l- it's an awakening, and I have a God-given gift. Often,
in certain traditions, it might be called a kundalini arising also.
And from that point onwards, you know, this
work no longer felt like an interest I had chosen to pursue. It felt like my
purpose. There was a strange familiarity to it all, as though I wasn't
discovering something new, but that I was remembering things I had always
known. That sense of purpose eventually became The Alchemist Clinic. And at the
heart of my work is a simple belief. Healing does not always have to be
forceful or harsh to be powerful. Sometimes the deepest changes begin with
gentleness, with a breath, with patience, with self-love, with being listened
to without judgment.
I care deeply about the outcome my clients
experience, but I also understand the importance of humility. I listen to my
intuition while respecting the things I cannot know. I take gentle, considered
steps and allow each person's experience to unfold in its own way.
One experience that has remained with me
was a session with a woman named Stina.
Before every session, I ask my clients two
questions, and the first one is, "If I could help you in any way, what
would that look like?" And the second is, "Tell me what you really
want." I love that last question because beneath our responsibilities,
expectations, and everyday noise, I believe there is a quieter part of us that
already knows what we need.
When Stina stood in front of me, I
immediately noticed that she was breathing high into her chest. Her breaths
were shallow and seemed to be moving in the opposite direction to the natural
expansion of her body. In other words, she was breathing upside down. So that's
where we began. I guided her to breathe more deeply into her belly and her
sides. We slowed everything down and allowed each breath to become fuller and
softer.
As her breathing changed, her body began to
relax, her thoughts quietened, and she became more present. I encouraged her
not only to think about gratitude, but to feel it physically moving through
her.
And as I connected with her, I began to
experience familiar tingling sensations in my own body. They would change or
stop around certain areas, guiding my attention towards places where the energy
appeared unable to flow freely.
The entire session, we conducted standing
up, and as Stina relaxed more deeply, her bogo- body began to sway and move
naturally. She was in a deep trance. This was so beautiful to watch. It felt as
though her thinking mind had stepped aside and finally given her body
permission to communicate.
At times, I placed my hands gently over an
area and asked her to breathe into it. My hands became intensely warm, almost
as though they were being drawn towards the places where stillness and
attention were needed.
Neither of us needed to explain or analyze
everything that arose. Sometimes words are helpful, sometimes they get in the
way, and sometimes the body simply needs to be heard.
I guided Stina to imagine energy flowing
through the crown of her head, down through her body, and into the earth. Then,
um, I invited her to feel the energy of the earth rising through her feet,
traveling through her body, and continuing beyond the crown of her head.
Earth below, the celestial above, and Stina
connected between them.
At that exact moment, the lights in the
room went out. The music continued, so we hadn't lost electricity. We simply
stood there in darkness while the music played around us. The timing felt
remarkable, as though the room itself had become still and all its energy and
attention had moved towards Stina.
I didn't interrupt the session or attempt
to explain what had happened. We remained present and continued. And when that
part of the treatment was finished, the lights came back on. It may have been a
coincidence. It may have been something more. I don't pretend to have every
answer. What mattered was the experience of that moment and what Stina was
feeling within it. As we continued, emotions began to surface, and tears came.
We didn't try to stop or analyze them. We allowed them to be released. I guided
her to visualize golden threads representing her connection to people,
memories, and experiences. And when she felt ready, I asked her to imagine
gently cutting the threads she no longer needed, those threads that bind you to
everyone you have ever met. Not with anger, not with resentment, but with love.
Releasing something doesn't mean it never
mattered. It means giving yourself permission to stop carrying its emotional
weight into your present.
By the end of the session, Stina was deeply
relaxed. I spoke quietly to her subconscious, reinforcing the intentions she
had shared with me, to trust herself, to quieten her mind, to feel safe in
stillness, to let go, and to move forwards.
When I happened to see Stina a few hours
later, she told me that the pain she had been carrying in her chest had gone,
and the tension she arrived with
had lifted.
But before she said anything, I could see a
difference. There was a lightness in her eyes, her expression, and the way she
carried herself. She appeared happy, almost elated. It felt as though I was
looking at a different person. And I'm gonna share with you what she wrote
afterwards.
This is what she wrote. "I honestly
don't know how to put into words what my experience with Arabella at The
Alchemist Clinic has meant to me. From start to finish, it was absolutely
incredible.
I went into my treatment open-minded, but I
never expected to feel such a profound shift. Arabella has an incredible
ability to connect with you on a level that is difficult to explain. She helped
me uncover and begin to release the trauma that I didn't even realize I had
been carrying, things I had buried so deeply that I hadn't understood how much
they were still affecting me. What made the experience even more remarkable was
how intuitively Arabella was able to pick up on areas of my well-being that I
had personally been struggling with. It felt as though she could sense things
beneath the surface that I hadn't even spoken about, and the whole experience
was incredibly powerful and emotional.
I left feeling lighter, calmer, and more
connected to myself than I have felt in a very long time. There was a real
sense that something had shifted within me."
Experiences such as Stina's are how I
measure the impact of my work. It isn't about recognition. It is about the
moment somebody tells me that they feel lighter, calmer, happier, freer, or
more connected to themselves. This is why I do this. There will always be an
aspect of healing that are difficult to put into words. You might call them
energy, you might call them intuition, you might call them the divine, and we
might call them spirit, or perhaps they don't always need a name. Sometimes we
simply need to become quiet enough to notice what our bodies have been trying
to tell us.
This is what I offer at The Alchemist
Clinic, a place to breathe, to be heard, and to reconnect with yourself, a
place where healing is approached with compassion, intuition, and gentleness.
This is healing with a golden touch. [paper rustles]
